Since 2013 the Sveshnikov State Academic Russian Choir has its own recording studio and offers rental services.
The studio has ability to record chamber music, a chamber instrumental ensemble (the studio has a Petrof concert grand piano), a vocal-choral group of up to 70 people.
Along with the artificial soundproofing and sound absorption, the studio has a natural sound insulation, being in a separate area of the Prove-Kalish’s homestead near the metro station "Krasnie Vorota".
In the studio actively recording works of different years and genres, including the works of contemporary composers. For example, in 2016 Sveshnikov State Choir recorded the soundtrack to the Russian animated film “The Unusual Journey of the Seraphima” by composer Ivan Uryupin (conductor Alexei Vereshchagin), and in 2017 the soundtrack to the film "The Liturgy of the Heathens" by Alexei Rybnikov.
Our soundengineers - Mark Zolotar, Alexander Barmakov, Vitaly Sverdlov - worked in projects organized by Klassica Charity Foundation - the concert-performance "Leningraders. 900 days in the name of life", the opera "Carmen", "A Hero of Our Time" to the 200th anniversary of the birth of Mikhail Lermontov, “Music as Fate” to the 100th anniversary of Georgy Sviridov, "Three Centuries of St. Petersburg Ballet" to the 275th anniversary of the Vaganova Ballet Academy.
Mark Zolotar and Vitaly Sverdlov founded the company "Meta-Audio" in 1989, which successfully works in the market of professional sound engineering.
